Video visits your patients book from your own website.

A patient opens the chat on your clinic's site, picks a time inside the hours you keep, and joins the video visit from the same window when it starts. There is nothing to download. The questions before and after land in the inbox your team already works.

What a visit runs on.

Four parts of NewDesk, set up for a practice that sees people on video.

Booked calls

Times from your own hours

Patients book inside the hours you set, in slots of 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes, with the notice you need. Add days off for holidays and closures, and nothing is offered on them.

Video calls in the widget

The visit happens in the browser

The patient needs a browser, not an app or an account. Set calls to voice, video or either, and a camera can be turned on partway through a call.

Booking emails

A confirmation and a reminder

The booking is confirmed by email as soon as it is made, and the patient gets a reminder ten minutes before the visit starts.

Phone calls

By phone, for patients who prefer it

Switch on phone calls and the assistant asks for a number when booking. At the booked time, the desk shows the number with a button to call it.

From booking to follow-up, on one desk.

The visit, the chat before it and the messages after it are all in the same place.

Step 1

The patient books

They ask for a visit in the chat on your site. The assistant offers open times from your calendar and books the one they pick.

Step 2

Your team sees it

The visit shows on the Calls page with the patient's name, email and their local time. A booking made in the chat is written on that chat's ticket too.

Step 3

Everyone joins in the browser

The patient joins from the widget and the clinician joins from the desk. Ask a colleague to join and their desk rings to bring them into the same call.

Step 4

The follow-up stays on the ticket

Questions after the visit come in by chat or email. Replies go back by email, their answers return to the same ticket, and internal notes are seen only by your team.

Telehealth, in questions.

The things teams ask before they switch. If yours is not here, the widget in the corner answers from the same training our own desk runs on.

No. The visit runs in the chat widget on your website, in the browser the patient already has open. They book with a name and an email, and join from the same widget when the time comes.

Set calls to voice, video or either. With either, the patient chooses. Or switch on phone calls: the assistant asks for a number when booking, and your team calls it at the booked time.

If you allow it. A call right now rings your team on the desk and in the mobile app for a minute. If nobody picks up, the assistant offers a booked time instead. Anyone set to away is not rung.

No. It handles the visit requests, the calls and the messages around them. Keep clinical records in the system your practice uses for them, and check what your own rules require before you start.
